ABOUT ACCESS RAIL SOLUTIONS
We started in 2012 with one folding ramp and a big frustration: 30% of passengers struggle to board. Today we deliver full-station accessibility ecosystems across commuter, metro, intercity and heritage rail.
We don't sell equipment. We remove barriers to independent travel.
Access Rail Solutions is a design-engineering studio + field crew for inclusive rail. We audit stations, prototype boarding aids, certify to ADA / PRM-TSI / EN standards, train staff, and maintain systems for 10+ years. Our mantra: if a 7-year-old, an 80-year-old with a walker, and a traveler with a suitcase can all board in under 20 seconds — we succeeded.

Do we need to rebuild platforms? +
In 78% of cases, no. Our bridges and ramps compensate 80–320mm height differences and up to 120mm gaps. We laser-scan first and tell you honestly when civil works are unavoidable.
Are systems compliant with PRM-TSI / ADA? +
Yes. Every install ships with test reports, load certificates, slip resistance data and maintenance manuals accepted by national safety authorities.
How long does installation take? +
Manual ramps: 1 day. Auto bridges: 1 night per car. Micro-lifts: 48 hours. Full station (tactile + signage + lifts): 3–6 weeks with night shifts.
What about snow, rain, vandalism? +
Heated anti-ice surfaces, IP65 electronics, IK10 housings, and battery backup. We test at -30°C and in salt spray chambers.
Do you train our staff? +
Always. 2-day hands-on course with wheelchair-user trainers, plus annual refresh and video library. Certification included.
